To be Thankful
This Thanksgiving I had some time off from producing, acting, marketing, etc to rest, reflect, and revitalize! I wanted to take the opportunity to give thanks on behalf of Missed Connections Live and share why I am grateful.
I am grateful, mostly, to the 123 Kickstarter backers who supported Missed Connections Live. The quality of the series has grown because of their extreme generosity and belief in me. I will continue to work hard to make their contributions worthwhile.
I am grateful to my collaborators who help make Missed Connections Live great. I often demand a lot from them and would have no series without their hard work and dedication.
I am grateful to my growing audience for tuning in! Missed Connections Live will continue to thrive only if you continue to participate. Thank you for your positive encouragement and for allowing me to entertain you.
I am grateful to the WGAe and the New York City community of web creators. I feel so fortunate to be a part of this active, supportive, generous, talented, smart group of people. Hopefully we can continue to work together to shape the New Media Frontier!
I am grateful to live in New York City and have the freedom to create. Not many people can share their voice without censorship. How lucky am I to express exactly what I want to express AND have access to a free platform with which to express myself?! Not only that, but I have the vibrant backdrop of NYC as my playground.
Over the next bit of time, in between ‘behind the scenes’ posts, I be highlighting the people of the “Missed Connections Live Community” as an effort to continue my expression of gratitude.
With love and thanks,
Melissa
